Letter from Duc Duyet

Today after work and reach home, saw this letter on my table.

Guess what? haha, is the updates from World Vision about Duc Duyet XD

This is the how the annual progress report looks like.


You see you see!! Duc Duyet can write his name well!! haha! XD



and also he draw something about flowers, houses, and sun (in green =P He remind me about environment protection? haha XD)

You can see... the kindergarden is 3KM from his home... =X
and his best friend is Ha, Tren Phu (is it a she? nyek nyek nyek =P)
and he wake up more early than me!!!

actually honestly, last month I havn't pay to World Vision due to lack of money on my side also. Me myself also poor to the max actually XD
So this month I can then pay for previous month and current month also, hehe, cause just just get salary from my new job XD

How to fill up Wang Pos for World Vision Malaysia

Here is how you gonna do if you want to pay to World Vision for Sponsor a Child Program.


1. Go to nearest post office or less crowded post office to purchase a Wang Pos from the counter. (For a RM 50.00 Wang Pos, there will be Rm 0.60 charges. Don't go with a RM 50.00 nett in your pocket, else you will beg and borrow from the counter personnel).

2. Buy a setem and envelope or an envelope of Pos Express (Rm 2.50 is enough).

3. Then filled up the details as below.

As posted previously, I've join the World Vision Malaysia's Sponsor a Child program. and where I selected the choice "the place most needed" when in the "country" field that time. And waiting...

After about a week, they have send me the details for the sponsored child.
and today the post-man deliver the first letter to me. =)

Inside there have few items.

He is from Ba Thuoc in Vietnam, which I also dont know where is the exact location.
From the map, is like somewhere near here.


I never travel into Vietnam before, but Yeng Yeng does. May be can ask her.

His parent are both Farmer.
He have a sister in the family.
Currently study in Kindergarden.
He like Mathematics. (My maths is suck X.X)
He do help sweeping in house.
His health condition was reported as "satisfactory". I think is Ok de right?
He is 5 years old ++ going to be 6 this year. Similar as my naugthy niece, keke.
I'm thinking of what Birthday Gift to give him. Any idea?

The World Vision project on going was Ba Thuoc ADP.
Their problems are..
1. 68% of the villager is below poverty line.
2. The hunger is around there coz their crops produced not enough to support them.
3. There is lack of proper medical support, and less than 50% of house have proper toilet!!
4. High drop out in school.
5. Flashflood and landslide is happening there.

So World Vision is going to
1. improve the education standard there.
2. improve health condition especially children and women.

Not forget to mention, their Average annual income per capita is..
RM 440!!!

Oh Gosh, I'm such a so so soooo lucky boy..

May be can start learn some vietnamese word. If not shame to me dont know how to talk to him when got chance go meet him. Wakaka.

Guys, if you afford, join me also. really de, i think RM 50 a month should be ok gua. One day save about 2 dollar will have extra liao. But myself also in financial crisis, wakaka.
Hope I able to sponsor him until he grow big enough ^^

This morning, I came across this banner inside the jobstreet's email.



and I click into and have a look.

Wow~~ Doesn't it great?
Its a sponsor a child program. and it is still withing my capability. RM 50.
Yea, I'm poor, But I think I still have an additional of RM 50 every month left.
Why not use it to let a kid survive?

Then here I go to the registration for it. Please Join me in this Friends ^^
I believe most of you can do it too.
Instead of RM 50 for a shoes or what, Let those kids have a bright life in survive. =)

If you think enough and have decide to sponsor for a children, simply click to the button.

There is only 4 simple steps.

STEP 1. Choose how many children you want to sponsor, and where are the children from.
I only able to see 5 locations for the moment. But actually there is other places, it covers China, Lebanon, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Mynmar, South Africa, and Mongolia. Some times if the othe location not appear, it means they currently do not have children available there. Ref.Link

The list allow you to sponsor 5 children. If you want sponsor more, you may do so, just contact to 03-7880 6414 or admin@worldvision.com.my

STEP 2. Choose the amount you want to sponsor. The rate is RM 50 per month. You can choose to pay one lum sum or month by month.

The method of payment can be made via Credit Card, Cheque, Money Order or Postal Order.


STEP 3. Write your personal details.


STEP 4. Then the last step is write how you know about the World Vision.

Then after all completed, Submit you entry.
You will then require to download a form to filled up if you choose to pay via credit card.

Fill up the form, and send to them via Post Mail or Fax.
Then wait for their reply and send you the details.

This one is more details in choosing the children you want to sponsor. Each child you can see their gender, birthday, grade in school, their country, health condition, favorite subjects, favorite play. But the donation is in USD currecy. at USD 35 per month. You may choose to give more.
